Who would have thunk that I would finally pull of Pinterest project that worked?
Ok, I lie.
I failed miserably with my first attempt. Like the professional writer I am, I totally messed up my grand plan to create some beautiful Sharpie coffee mugs with the kids for Christmas presents. I won’t even tell you how long I spent sketching out the perfect design (hours) and how painstakingly I sketched it onto a coffee mug (back-breaking) with a pencil, and how many pictures I took off my finished mug (too many) before my husband looked at it, squinted, and asked, “Why did you write ‘the’ twice??”
Forehead to table here.
Luckily, I spent embarrassingly enormous amounts of time researching this craft and sorting through the different posts with tips and advice and eventually came up with instructions that worked. And as soon as I learned how to proof read, I actually managed to pull of a cute mug design too.
Huh, huh?
You can get the full instructions–which are super easy, for the record–over on Disney Baby right here. May your coffee creations be better spelled out than mine.
