Remember how I thought there was something fishy going on with my blog?
And I proudly thought I had fixed the problem?
Apparently my rudimentary skills at detecting malicious code were not enough. Sadly, there were more problems and I got a zillion emails telling me the site was full of malware–ugh.
Last night I had to bit the bullet and shell out $75/hour to a recommended internet handyman. (I’m telling you–that’s where the money is. I am clearly in the wrong profession. $75/hour, what?!)
He found two places of the embedded code in my blog, which thankfully, did not appear to be any damage-causing, either to me or to any of you.
His recommendation for you: clear out your temporary internet files if you’re worried about any malware from my site.
I am so, so, so sorry about the inconvenience!
Let me know how I can make it up to you–a giveaway of some sort perhaps?
I’ve been pondering this for awhile, but I don’t know what to give away…
Anything besides malware?
