Easy-Peasy Two-Step Pumpkin Spice Coffee

Yesterday, I picked up my first pumpkin spice latte of the season before I hit up the grocery store with the girls. And yes, I won’t lie to you, it was delicious. I, like millions of other people around the world, can proclaim my cliched love for the infamous #PSL. (Sidenote, if you happen to live in a hot-weathered state and are fed up with the pumpkin spice latte obsession, you might really enjoy this hilarious post.)

So even though I definitely savored by favorite fall in a cup, I will also admit there is only so much of the fake, sugary, fat-laden drink that I can willingly consume. So, today, on a gloomy, coldy, fally day, after we whipped up  this pumpkin-spice play dough, I decided to try my hand at making my own pumpkin spice coffee.

And lo and behold, peoples–it actually worked!

Ingredients:

*Freshly-ground coffee beans (I used enough to make 4 cups of coffee)

*1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice (or make your own with a mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves)

Directions:

Before you brew your morning coffee, simply mix in 1 tsp. of pumpkin pie spice into the grounds.

Success!

I bought some Dunkin’ Donuts Pumpkin Spice coffee at Target last year, and it was really good. And avoids all the sweet, fake stuff.
