Last week, I confessed that there was a time when blogging was destroying my marriage. Like I mean, really, really hurting it.
It’s embarrassing to look back now and realize the errors of my ways, when I thought it was perfectly acceptable to vent about my husband online.
Actually, I take that back.
I think I always knew, deep down, that what I was doing was wrong, but I was just too unhappy to admit it. I thought, foolishly and destructively, that blogging could serve as a healthy emotional outlet for my feelings.
I was wrong.
And I’m so glad that I was able to realize the harm in my ways and take steps to amend them, but I’m also glad that I was able to see that not everything about blogging about my relationship with my husband is bad. In fact, in some ways, I would dare say that blogging has actually helped my marriage.
