Love, love this idea from Pinterest.
I have an old nasty stool that I picked up for 25 cents at a garage sale last summer. It’s the perfect size for our downstairs bathroom–fits right in between the handles on the bottom drawer and provides just the right amount of lift for tiny hands to wash themselves. But of course, being a garage sale find and all, it’s a nasty, grungy white that I meant to get around to re-painting, but of course, never actually have.
But no more.
The step stool makeover is now on my to-do list. How cute will this be for Mother’s Day, especially as both of my girls’ birthdays are in May, making the month even more meaningful? And I just can’t wait to add a little bitty boy footprint in July! (Or, I mean June…because you know I look too big to be going all the way to July…)
I’m thinking it should be really simple–just some black spray paint, which I could probably even talk Ben in doing for me. Hey! I’m pregnant! I can’t breathe those fumes! And then smack some white paint on the kids’ feet and have them on it, right? Seems easy enough…
I’ll keep you posted!
